The Plain Tiger is closely related to the Monarch but is native to Africa and southern Asia.
It’s known for its graceful, gliding flight and symbolism of endurance and transformation.
Its colors come from compounds ingested from milkweed plants, which make it distasteful to predators — an evolutionary defense similar to the Monarch’s.
